My family and I have moved over to Supremacy from a three year adventure at another martial arts place and let me tell you Supremacy is the next level you may be looking for in your Brazilian jiu jitsu training. The fact that there are no “egos” in the gym make it incredible. There is plenty of talent to learn from and everyone is so willing to help out, by making you feel part of the team. The only regret I have about Supremacy is not making the move over years ago.

I am a father of a 10 yr old daughter whose starting Middle School in August. We’ve done Softball, Gymnastics and Karate… But Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu? This was the best decision! My daughter absolutely loves this. No screaming and slapping the mat…as I’ve seen in other Dojos. They build the students’ confidence, while teaching respect for others and the art. Great Coaches and the Professor (Head Teacher) is welcoming to anyone who wants to train. Having a wrestling and karate background, believe me when I say… You’ll be doing your child a huge favor by signing them up here…Promise you!!!!

If you have a child and are considering getting him or her into Supremacy BJJ, do it. My daughter loves it! She is getting strong, knows respect, and shows more confidence because of Supremacy BJJ. Coach Cody does such a great job with the kids with instruction and the classes are always safe under his supervision. I literally cannot get this girl to stop wanting to learn more. She loves it! Thank you Supremacy

I can’t say enough about this place. I have 2 sons that go here. 1 in the kids class and 1 in the teens class. They both love it and have learned so much. My 6 year old started off slow (because it was something new) but they have worked with him and I have also done private lessons for him that have gave him more confidence. Yes the private lessons are a separate charge but most of the time a private lesson is a separate charge. It’s $50 for an hour of one on one. I highly recommend them. I also take a fitness bootcamp class in the morning that is amazing. All the people here are very nice and professional

I have been training at Supremacy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with professor Rodrigo Grenno for approximately a year and half. Every class is a mental and physical challenge resulting in a stronger mind and body. I’m a sergeant in law enforcement and find the classes beneficial for my professional development. It enhances my officer safety skills and gives me the self- confidence and mind set to survive every day battles.

I started training at Supremacy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in April of 2011 and as of November 22 I have gained strenght, knowledge and found an outlet for stress in my everyday hectic life.

As well as myself training, my 4 year old son Aydan trains as well twice a week. My son has learned manner and respect, has gained confidence and increased his coordination two fold. Aydan will not allow myself or my wife to let him miss a class. As he continues training, he has also gained knowledge for self-defense and to not allow himself to be bullied.

Professor Rodrigo Grenno and the students at Supremacy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu welcomed me with open arms and without judgement, if I ever have a question or I’am doing a technique wrong everyone is happy and eager to give advice.

My name is Joey and I am a 44 year old student at Supremacy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Largo, FL. The reason I love to train at Supremacy is the fellowship among the other students, the release of stress due to every day life, and wanting to get back into shape.

Since I started training I have lost 17 lbs, lost 2 inches in my waist and have lowered my blood pressure. As with most martial arts you will learn self defense, discipline, and commitment. What makes training with my Professor so enjoyable is the balance of discipline and respect while maintaining a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for us all to learn. I can not overstate that value that I personally place on training at BJJ with all my fellow students enough. The goal of Jiu Jitsu is not just about what you get out of it, it’s how you incorporate into your life, and how you help others around you become better.

Training at Supremacy has given me the opportunity to learn a new discipline, meet new friends and share my experience with others.

I started training with Professor Rodrigo Grenno just over a year ago. I have been doing Martial Arts (mostly striking) since I was a kid and though that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu would be a great grappling Martial Art to complement my striking skills. Right from the beginning I realized that this sport and this Martial Art was exactly what I was looking for. In addition to that, Rodrigo’s way of teaching and instructing was and still is at the top level. I have been with him since he was a Jiu-Jitsu instructor at the MMA school and before he opened SBJJ. Now, I’m a proud member of SBJJ. There are countless benefits in training Jiu-Jitsu at SBJJ. Everyone will find what they are looking for here. If you want to get in better shape, gain confidence, and learn valuable self-defense skills, which may one day save your life, SBJJ is the place for you. If you want to compete, expand and add to your grappling skills, and may want to become an MMA fighter, SBJJ is a place for you as well. We have a very diverse student body – from absolute beginners to people who have been training for a big part of their lives. Come here and experience for yourself the benefits of training here.

  • Tim E. , Supremacy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Testimonials

I first started training BJJ with Professor Rodrigo Grenno in 2008 for basically two reasons. First, I was deciding whether or not to go back to the gym or train BJJ to lose weight. I decided to train BJJ for the fact that I could accomplish my weight loss goals and at the same time learn another martial art. I realized that altercations always start while standing and every time they end up on the ground. Even though I’m a 3rd Dan in TaeKwonDo, I didn’t have the confidence or experience of defending myself on the ground; especially with someone larger than me or someone who could grapple. Within the first 6 months I lost 25 lbs by training 2 times a week as well as feeling more confident on the ground.

Secondly, BJJ would be another martial art that I can teach my son. Times have drastically changed since I was his age and we didn’t have to worry about a lot of this issues kids face now so I want to prepare him as much as possible with how to protect himself against any possible threats. My son has recently been training at Supremacy for about 4 months and he loves it. This is yet another way that my son and I can do things together as well as building an even stronger bond than what we already have.

On a side note, I’ve followed Professor Rodrigo to every location, no matter the distance, because he is a great Professor. I was excited when he decided to open up his own school because it provided him the freedom to develop a program and to instruct his students as he felt fit.

I began training at Supremacy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu because I wanted to be a part of the fastest growing sport in the world, which is Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). I feel that to be successful in MMA you must be unbelievably good at one thing, and very good at the others, I chose to try and make Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that one thing. I feel that training here at Supremacy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Rodrigo Grenno, with the vivid detail and knowledge he teaches every position, I have a chance to one day be unbelievably good at this art.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) to me is also an excellent hobby, all of my life I have participated in sports, Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Track and Field in high school, but eventually all those sports come to an end. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) never ends, I can train until I decide otherwise. As far as the work out, BJJ is second to none – after a while, lifting weights and running became boring to me, but training here is fun and an awesome work out.

I really believe that I will never stop training at Supremacy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, it has been that great for me
